Thomas Addoah is a highly experienced social scientist with a focus on environmental sustainability, international development, and natural resource management. With over a decade of expertise in assessing the impact of policies on communities and ecosystems, Thomas serves as the Board Member for Monitoring and Evaluation at Green for Change Ghana. He ensures that the organization’s projects are rigorously evaluated for their effectiveness in promoting sustainable environmental management, community empowerment, and improved livelihoods.

Thomas holds a first-class BA in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Ghana, an MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia, and is currently pursuing a PhD focusing on Forest-focused Supply Chain Policies in the cocoa sector of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. His research combines both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the intersection of conservation and livelihood outcomes.

His previous roles include Field Research Coordinator at the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and REDD+ Safeguards Advisor at SNV Ghana. He has worked closely with smallholder farmers and policymakers to promote forest conservation, land restoration, and sustainable agriculture practices. His interdisciplinary research emphasizes the importance of integrating community perspectives into environmental policies.

At Green for Change Ghana, Thomas leads the monitoring and evaluation of initiatives focused on land restoration, sustainable agriculture, and community-driven development. His expertise ensures that the organization’s projects are impactful, continuously improving, and aligned with international standards for sustainability.

Vitus Domevi Yelewere is an accomplished development professional with over 10 years of experience in both local and international NGOs, demonstrating expertise in project development, management, and implementation. His career has seen him lead teams and deliver impactful projects with organizations such as the Northern Network for Education Development (NNED), AngloGold Ashanti Malaria (AGAMAL) Control Limited, and World Vision Ghana. Vitus has a proven track record in capacity building, stakeholder engagement, community empowerment, research, data collection, and technical reporting.

His proficiency spans across critical areas, including Education, Health, Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding, Policy Development, and Advocacy. Vitus' deep knowledge of governance and migration dynamics, honed during his Master's degree in Development Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam, positions him to provide strategic leadership in addressing complex development challenges. His academic foundation in Geography and Rural Development from KNUST, combined with his certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution, further strengthens his ability to contribute to sustainable solutions in diverse community contexts.

Prior to his role at COGINTA, Vitus served as a Freelance Development Consultant, where he advised on organizational development, peacebuilding training for civil society organizations, and partnership development agreements. As a Board Member of Green for Change Ghana, Vitus brings a wealth of knowledge, strategic vision, and hands-on experience, driving the organization's mission to create meaningful, community-centred change.

Cornelius K.A. Pienaah is a Board Member and Senior Research Fellow at Green for Change Ghana, bringing over 12 years of experience as a "pracademic," combining rigorous academic research with practical applications in the field of Nature-Based Climate Solutions. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Geography & Environment at Western University, Canada, Cornelius is a leading expert in Gender & Environment, Food and Water Security, Climate Smart Agriculture, Biodiversity Conservation, and Climate Change Preparedness and Resilience.

He holds an MPhil in Environment & Resource Management and a B.Sc. in Renewable Natural Resources from the University for Development Studies, Ghana, alongside his ongoing doctoral studies. His career is driven by a deep commitment to advancing rural livelihoods and community development in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the context of climate change adaptation and sustainable resource management.

Cornelius has contributed his expertise to several prominent organizations, including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH - Resilience Against Climate Change (REACH) Project, the National Identification Authority (NIA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and MoringaConnect Company Limited. His consultancy experience spans renowned organizations such as Oxfam International, Jhpiego, the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), JSI Research & Training Institute, Eawag Aquatic Research Institute, and many others. These roles have enabled him to support impactful projects in climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and community development.

At Western University, Cornelius leads an important research project focused on how community-driven resource management can improve livelihoods and strengthen climate change resilience in Ghana. His strong research background, coupled with his practical field experience, enables him to develop actionable strategies for addressing environmental challenges and fostering sustainable development.

As a Board Member and Research Fellow at Green for Change Ghana, Cornelius brings a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and field experience, offering valuable insights into the design and implementation of climate resilience programs. His expertise in project management, policy development, networking, and community engagement makes him a key driver of the organization's mission to create lasting, positive change for communities in Ghana and beyond.

Christina Kyiwie An-Nyerepuo is a highly motivated agricultural market systems and value chain specialist with over six years of experience in driving community-based solutions within the NGO sector. She currently serves as the Agricultural Services Specialist on the USAID-funded Ghana Market Systems and Resilience (MSR) Activity with ACDI/VOCA. Prior to this, she was the Food Crop and Agriculture Specialist for the MEDA GROW2 project from October 2022 to October 2024.

As a passionate change driver, Christina leverages resources from development organizations to develop innovative solutions addressing agricultural development, food security, and women's economic empowerment. With a strong enthusiasm for climate action, she advocates for environmentally sustainable solutions to mitigate climate change and build resilience across communities.

Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Technology (Agronomy) from the University for Development Studies (2019). She also completed a certificate program in Climate Change Adaptation and Natural Resource Management in Food Security from Wageningen Centre for Research in the Netherlands. Currently, she is pursuing an M.Phil. in Environment and Resource Management at the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies, with plans to graduate in November 2025.

As a board member of Green for Change Ghana, Christina is committed to advancing value chain development and championing community-based solutions. She focuses on promoting women’s economic empowerment and bridging gender gaps in accessing community resources, furthering the organization’s mission to create inclusive and sustainable change.
